Rockies Relief Pitcher Opts Out of 2020 Season
A relief pitcher for the Colorado Rockies has opted out of the 2020 MLB season. The season got underway just before the weekend and the Rockies won two of their first three games against Texas.
Tim Collins has recently informed the team that he will opt out.
The reliever has a career ERA of 3.60, but has yet to play for the team this season.
He was unlikely to figure into any calculation for fantasy baseball leagues. However, another Rockies relief pitcher, Daniel Bard, did garner some attention yesterday after picking up a win for the team this weekend after spending multiple years away from the game of baseball.
Wade Davis picked up two saves over the weekend as well and figures to continue to be the primary fantasy relief pitcher option for the Rockies.
